Back again, finally.

Wow, Hello!
It’s been far to long since I’ve posted here. Long story short, I came back from California, went through kind of a long phase of no inspiration or desire to shoot anything, then all of a sudden I was inspired and ready to shoot again, so here we are. I’ve done 3 more weddings, a couple of senior shoots, a few food shoots and a bunch of shooting for myself in between. This summer is nothing how I expected it to be, but it’s okay because I’m still learning and growing.

I have a lot to show you, but for now I’m going to show you images from my week long trip in Stowe, Vermont. I went with my family and even though the weather was really on and off, it was such a fun time! I love spending time with my Mom and brothers, we can be ourselves, joke around, and be crazy but still have serious discussions. It’s safe to say the main reason I came back home was to be closer to the people I love the most. I can’t imagine life with out them.

Sappy stuff aside, we had a great time going to farmers’ markets, bike riding, running, going out to eat, driving around, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

I took a lot of pictures of food of course. The Stowe Farmers’ Market is one of the best I’ve seen in New England and the people are really nice! If you’re ever up there, you should go.

Finally, I’m sure everyone has heard a lot about Hurricane Irene and have experienced it as well. Vermont and the people that live there are going through a tough time dealing with the large amount of damage it has caused, so encourage you to reach out and help by clicking on this link. Anything helps!

Thanks for listening and reading, next blog post I’ll finally get to show you one of the weddings I shot back in July:)

Kelsey Raymond - Jenn, your adventures always look so fun! I love the way you photograph them to look serene. And you have this way of making it look like you REALLY know the people you shoot!

Hehe. The clam-shaped food item in the second photo reminds me of whoopie pies from Cranberry Island Kitchen! :) http://www.cranberryislandkitchen.com/

Hey everyone!

Just a quick post! I took a few photos the other day while at the North Beach festival. It was a beautiful day to be out and about in the city and I had a nice time. The festival was packed and there were all kinds of arts and crafts, beer lawns, and food of course! North Beach is definitely one of my favorite areas to stroll around when I’m in the city and it’s also one of my favorite places to eat (I love Italian food, who doesn’t?). I snapped a few photos while I walked around and got some lunch too.

Tuna melt from La Boulange.

Last but not least, some fresh strawberries from my Aunt’s garden.

In a week I’ll be heading back to the East Coast! It’s been almost 7 months which blows my mind. I’ll write more about that soon so keep an eye out!

Hi Everyone!
Can you believe it’s June already? Time is flying!
I’ve been shooting here and there and will definitely be shooting more.
Last week I worked with Madison Ginnett which was really great! We worked well together and she’s a great cook! We have a bunch of ideas we want to try and hopefully will be shooting again soon.

Here are my favorites from the shoot!

Yesterday I met up with some new friends of mine, Ali and Jason! We got some amazing food at Sparky’s in Oakland and then indulged in some delicious drinks at Bittersweet! It was sooooo goooood.

Look out for more stuff soon!

Hi everyone! Just a quick post!
I shot last weekend with my friend June who is looking to get into food styling and just styling for photos in general. She brought over some fantastic props to shoot with and she might be one of the sweetest people I know. She’s always positive and kind, it was great working with her.
I’ve also been going to the local farmers markets around the area and they are a good time! Lots of fresh, local produce and just all around good food. I love it!
Here’s some photos from the past week:

Hi Everyone!
It’s been way too long since my last post, I apologize. I’ve been pretty busy between my internship, my part time job, finding stylists for my own shoots and planning on re doing my portfolio. Now I’ve quit said part time job, found a bunch of talented people to work with and have continued to work on my portfolio. Everything is going well. My internship is great, and working with the people there has been really nice! I left my part time so I could work on my photography more and get more photo jobs, it needed to happen. My mom also came to visit the last week in March which was so great! (I definitely cried at the airport). I missed her so much and still do. Even though I had to work a lot we had an awesome week hanging out and I cannot wait to see her again!

Now for some photos….

Wine Country

This was from when my mom and I went up to wine country. It was a warm, gorgeous day and the countryside was beautiful. More importantly I have the wonderful memory of sharing that day with my favorite person. I love you mom.

Rainy Daydreams

A week before my mom came it had rained for at least 10 days straight here.

A couple self portraits I did one nice night while out on the deck.

On Saturday I did a shoot with Alyssa Terry, who cooked and styled the food. It was a great time and the food was delicious, haha. I am very excited about these images and can’t wait to work with Alyssa again!

Farmers Market Breakfast

Last but not least, a sunset over San Francisco. My best friend’s brother was in town and we hung out for a day going all over the city and we ended up at the top of Coit tower just in time for a great view and beautiful light.
