Back in early September I photographed Emily and Will’s intimate backyard wedding in Alton, New Hampshire. They had planned a wonderfully sweet wedding day. Simple and fun with touches of Scottish flair in Will’s parent’s backyard which is also mostly a beautiful garden space. They had an arbor built and put up a tent and had their closest friends and family come join in to celebrate! I love small weddings and I love that the day can be so relaxed and reflect who the couple is and what they enjoy. Some of my favorite parts were the potpourri “confetti” wrapped in vintage paper, the traditional kilt wrapping, the bride’s linen wedding dress, and the homemade Glogg!
