Shopping Small in New England and beyond

Hello everyone! I wanted to put together a list of small businesses I like to support and shop from through out the year, and of course during the holidays too!


For this list I did leave out restaurants just because I think that would be enough for another huge list or post itself. Maybe I'll create that list next! Or just ask what my favorites are in an area and I'd be happy to tell you :)


These are some of my favorite businesses selling a product and some selling a service, some of which are my clients and some are not, but all of these are small and generally working to be sustainable and low waste, or doing great things for the community. I hope you enjoy and can find some to shop from or buy gift cards from or just visit! If you can't support with money, it's always extremely helpful for small businesses if you share or interact with their social media, or even just keep telling other people about them. It helps a ton !

Cross-platform installation guides are often thin on specifics, but this one covers the full path from toolchain setup to launching an agent. The inclusion of Raspberry Pi is a nice touch for lightweight or experimental deployments. For a smooth start, the setup instructions are worth following closely.

Browsing this website was a comfortable experience because the information seemed thoughtfully arranged and easy to understand. I did not encounter unnecessary distractions, which made reading everything much more enjoyable. The overall structure encouraged me to continue exploring instead of leaving after a few minutes. I also noticed maha dev book mentioned naturally within the content, fitting the discussion without standing out awkwardly. That balance made everything feel more authentic and carefully prepared.
