Over the weekend I was lucky enough to be able to work and help out with a food photography and styling workshop hosted by the amazing Betty Liu and Krissy Oshea with food made them and Sarah Waldman. It was an amazing team and we had a blast prepping, styling, cooking, and teaching a fine group of talented and inspiring women!
I really love workshops for the community aspect and of course the great food and locations! :) But really, the people I’ve met through attending workshops has been so valuable. We also discussed how important it is to make in person connections and talk to each other face to face and learn from each other in a way that wasn’t through a screen of some sort. Gathering with a group of like-minded people is such a great way to explore your creativity and presence in the world.
3 days of learning food photography for the attendees and we got to put it all together for them! It was fun being behind the scenes a bit and watching how Betty and Krissy taught, as well as be part of making the whole thing run smoothly. Being a part of these in one way or the other never ceases to amaze me and I love to capture as I go. Enjoy the imagery!
